<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Deputy Public Prosecutor Ahmad Akram Gharib told the press that Justice Collin Lawrence Sequerah allowed an application by the defence to postpone the trial, which was previously slated for today and on Friday.</p></div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Muhammad Shafee’s son, Muhammad Farhan Shafee, who is also a practicing lawyer, has his wedding set for Thursday in Penang.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>The rest of the dates for the trial remain as previously fixed by Justice Sequerah — March 2-6, 9-13, 19-20, 23-27, 30-31, the whole of April, May 4 and the whole month of June until October, including Fridays until 12.30pm, with the exception of weekends and public holidays for the 1MDB-Tanore trial.</p></div>
