KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 31): AMMB Holdings Bhd said today Voon Seng Chuan will be appointed as the new chairman of AmBank (M) Bhd with effect from tomorrow (Jan 1, 2019) as part of the financial-services group's directorship and chairmanship transition plan.

"Voon, a Malaysian, aged 60, has been a member of the board of directors of AmBank (M) Bhd since 18 June 2015. He is also a member of the board of directors of AMMB Holdings Bhd," AMMB said in a statement to Bursa Malaysia today.
