Platinum Victory Holdings Sdn Bhd’s Vista Danau Kota in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur, has achieved a take-up rate of 90% since its launch on July 4, 2020. The development comes under the Federal Territories Affordable Housing Project (Rumawip).
Sitting on a 3.721-acre leasehold parcel, the 44-storey tower will have 910 units, each of which will have a built-up of 810 sq ft (three bedrooms and two bathrooms) and is priced at RM300,000. With a gross development value of RM273 million, the project is expected to be completed by 1Q2025.
“Vista Danau Kota utilises space efficiently for practical living and is catered for first-time homebuyers. We have worked closely with the relevant parties to ensure that the community’s needs are prioritised, especially when mapping out details such as the project’s location and design layout,” Platinum Victory Holdings group executive director Gan Yee Hin says in an email.
“The public may not be aware of the project, which is located within Greater Kuala Lumpur, as the common perception of affordable homes is that they are located in far-flung locations,” he adds.
Facilities will include an adult and children’s swimming pool, multipurpose hall, laundry room, surau, community space, nursery, shoplots and 24-hour security.
Vista Danau Kota is located close to The Palette, M3 Mall, Setapak Central Mall, AEON Wangsa Maju, Columbia Asia Hospital, SK Danau Kota, SJK (C) Mun Yee, SMK Danau Kota, SMK Gombak Setia, Sri Utama International School and Tunku Abdul Rahman University College. Public transport within a 4km radius include the Taman Melati and Wangsa Maju LRT stations.
The development is easily accessible via Jalan Genting Kelang, the Middle Ring Road 2 and Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway.
