Vallianz wins US$97 million charter award in the Middle East

SINGAPORE (Dec 15): Vallianz Holdings, the provider of offshore support vessels, has secured a time charter award worth US$97 million ($127 million) with NOC, one of the world’s largest national oil companies in the Middle East.

Under the award, Vallianz will supply a specialised vessel for up to five years from the third quarter of 2015 to support the NOC’s oil and gas production activities in the Middle East.

At present, Vallianz has a deployment of 21 offshore support vessels (OSV) contracts in the Middle East due to its existing contract commitments.

With this award from the NOC, the group’s order book will grow to US$626.4 million.

Currently, Vallianz has a fleet of 34 OSVs, which comprise primarily of Anchor Handling Tug Supply vessels and Platform Supply vessels.

Vallianz last closed at 7 cents on Dec 11.
