SINGAPORE (May 9): Vallianz Holdings has bagged a time charter contract worth up to US$63 million ($85.8 million) for the supply of two offshore support vessels.

Two anchor handling tug, supply and safety standby vessels will be delivered to an undisclosed national oil company (NOC) from the Middle East for up to seven years.

The first vessel is expected to be deployed to the NOC's oil fields in the Arabian Gulf during 3Q2016.

The second vessel is scheduled for deployment in 1Q 2017.

Vallianz says the new contract lifts its chartering services order book to US$950 million, which comprises mainly of long-term charters stretching up to 2024.

Meanwhile, the company adds that it is currently bidding for charter contracts worth a total of US$1.7 billion, mainly for projects located in the Middle East.

Shares of Vallianz ended lower at 4.1 cents on Friday.
