KUALA LUMPUR (July 5): TA Enterprise Bhd managing director and CEO Datin Alicia Tiah clarified to the media that the company is not selling its stockbroking subsidiary TA Securities Holdings Bhd.

She said this in response to a media question after the company's annual general meeting this afternoon.

Over the past month, there had been speculations that TA was talking to Kenanaga to sell its stockbroking business to the latter.

Until today, both parties had not confirmed or denied the rumour. Meanwhile, shares of TA Enterprise had been rising in active trades.
