KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 15): Tune Protect Group Bhd has appointed Iskandar Ezzahuddin Ahmad Zulkiflee as its new deputy group chief executive officer effective today.
"The group believes that Iskandar will help accelerate the company's transformation to become the digital insurer of choice," said Tune Protect in a stock exchange filing.
Iskandar is a founding member and executive committee member of the Fintech Association of Malaysia. He is also country director of GoBear Malaysia, a financial and insurance services comparison website.
Iskandar's primary objective in Tune Protect, said the group, is to help accelerate its journey to become a leading digital insurer by driving the development of digital products and services across the group's markets.
"This will include collaborating with our partners to enhance our existing Global Travel products and strengthening our brand strategy utilising digital marketing channels.
"He is an experienced entrepreneur in Malaysia's online start up landscape, leading efforts in consumer marketing and digital performance marketing. In addition, Iskandar has held senior roles in product management within the financial services sector," it added.
Shares of Tune Protect closed unchanged at RM1.11 today, giving the insurance group a market capitalisation of RM834.45 million.
