SINGAPORE (Nov 18): Tiong Seng Holdings has secured a contract worth $132.4 million to build two high-tech industrial buildings for Mapletree Industrial Trust.
The properties at the Telok Blangah Industrial Estate at Depot Road will comprise an eight-storey block and an 11-storey building, to be equipped with facilities for manufacturing, product and software development, as well as office space, the construction company said in a statement today.
Construction is slated to start this month.
The contract, the second from Mapletree Industrial Trust, brings Tiong Seng’s order book to $1.5 billion, which will keep it busy till 2020.
This year alone, the company has clinched a total of five contracts worth $942 million, including this one from Mapletree Industrial Trust.
Tiong Seng shares ended 3% higher at 17 cents.
