KUALA LUMPUR (July 18): Tanco Holdings Bhd has requested a continued suspension of trading pending the outcome of a board meeting to be convened today and the release of a material announcement.
The company said this in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, adding that the exchange has approved its request.
Tanco shares have been suspended from trading since last Thursday (July 14) afternoon.
In March, the company announced its plans to cancel off 15 sen from the 20 sen par value of each of its shares to facilitate the issuance of medium term notes of up to RM100 million in aggregate principal amount, to finance its Splash Water Theme Park & Suites project in Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan.
The counter last traded at 7 sen last Wednesday (July 13), for a market capitalisation of RM23.44 million.
