KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 5): Taman Megah is a mature landed residential neighbourhood in Petaling Jaya with a vibrant commercial area.

The enclave will see its first high-rise development completing next year on the site of the former Ming Tian food court and badminton centre.

Landserve managing director Chen King Hoaw said the shop offices are expected to benefit from the increased vibrancy and footfall upon the project’s completion.

Meanwhile, landed houses in Taman Megah will continue to enjoy good demand in the medium to long term, he noted.

“Given its location, we believe Taman Megah will remain popular, especially among those who are looking for landed homes in this part of Petaling Jaya.”

Meanwhile, Savills Malaysia managing director Datuk Paul Khong has a positive outlook on the area’s property market.

“The locality is well supported with excellent accessibility, direct access to the LDP (Damansara-Puchong Expressway), good infrastructure and public transport facilities as well as fantastic neighbourhood amenities. We expect to see continuous organic growth in Taman Megah, supported by its strong fundamentals, making it an attractive residential address.”

VPC Alliance managing director James Wong, on the other hand, expects the mature property market to remain stable.

“Taman Megah is a desirable residential address in a strategic location. With its freehold status, property prices are expected to increase gradually in the future.”
