KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 15): Lembaga Tabung Haji’s (LTH) interest in Puncak Niaga Holdings Bhd has reached nearly 10%, following intense buying into the water player, since emerging as a substantial shareholder late August this year.
In October alone, the pilgrim’s fund has purchased over 5.2 million shares or a 1.2% stake in Puncak Niaga. LTH had first emerged as a substantial shareholder of Puncak Niaga on Aug 21, 2014, with a 5.03% stake.
According to a filing to Bursa Malaysia today, LTH holds a total of 39.12 million shares or a 9.47% stake in Puncak Niaga, as at Oct 14.
Puncak Niaga declined five sen or 1.49% to settle at RM3.30 today, giving it a market capitalisation of RM1.36 billion.
