IPOH (June 4): Sunway Property has achieved a take-up rate of 90% for the first tower of Sunway Onsen Suites in Ipoh. 

It was launched in May 2019 and priced from RM392,600.The tower comprises 252 units with built-ups from 592 to 1,184 sq ft. There are three configurations: studio, two-bedroom and three-bedroom. The second phase is scheduled to be launched in November 2022.

The RM500 million Sunway Onsen Suites is Asia’s first serviced suite development that integrates natural hot springs. Set against a scenic green backdrop, there are a total of four blocks, alongside six Onsen Villas sized from 2,712 sq ft.

The natural hot springs pool is nestled within a courtyard at the podium level. There are also other facilities such as an infinity swimming pool, multipurpose hall, gymnasium,  sauna rooms and a garden.

Sunway City Ipoh executive director Wong Wan Wooi attributes the success of Sunway Onsen Suites to its unique feature proposition, green surroundings and its strategic location within Sunway City Ipoh. 

“Our investors are attracted to the rental yield and potential capital appreciation that is inherent in a unique resort-like development within Ipoh, which is garnering rising international acclaim, both as a tourism township, as well as a retirement destination,” he said in a press release recently.

Sunway Onsen Suites is part of the 1350-acre Sunway City Ipoh township. Upcoming development in the RM2 billion township include assisted living development with hot springs facilities, Sunway Medical Centre and Lost World mall.
