SHARES in Tanco Holdings Bhd (fundamental: 0.2/3, valuation: 0.9/3), which has also received a takeover offer, closed 1.5 sen or 23.08% higher to settle at eight sen last Friday, after some 33.4 million shares were traded.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>The property developer told Bursa Malaysia last Friday that it had received a takeover offer from its major shareholders at 8.12 sen a share and RM1.624 per redeemable convertible note.</p></div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Tanco said the joint offerors were Datuk Seri Tan Jing Nam, Andrew Tan Jun Suan and Datuk Tan Lee Sing. They own a collective 34.1% stake in Tanco. They intend to maintain Tanco’s listing on Bursa.</p></div>
