<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 14): Sime Darby Plantation Bhd said it has been made aware of a fraudulent job advertisement, which appeared to be published by Al-Habib Overseas Pvt Ltd, that gives the impression that it is representing Sime Darby Plantation and another plantation company in India.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>In a notice on its website on Monday (Feb 14), Sime Darby Plantation said it would like to inform members of the public that neither it nor its subsidiaries engage the service of any recruitment agent or offer any employment opportunity via any agent or representative in India.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>“Any such offer or advertisement circulated either via social media applications, websites or any other forms of publications must be treated cautiously and should be verified directly with us,” it added.</p></div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>At the time of writing, the Federal Land Development Authority (Felda), whose logo was also used in the fraudulent job advertisement, has not issued a statement on the matter.</p></div>
