KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 3): Diversified property development and real estate outfit Sheng Tai International Sdn Bhd has launched its one-stop centre (OSC) comprehensive information service and cross-selling platform to assist its international customers in settling down in Malaysia.

In a statement, Sheng Tai said through its international offices located in Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Japan, Sheng Tai International plans to leverage the OSC to promote Malaysia from a lifestyle and living as well as cross-border trade perspectives.

It said the OSC also provides Malaysian businesses and service providers a platform to explore business opportunities with its foreign customers, creating a win-win business ecosystem that can help mitigate the negative economic impact of the Covid-19 crisis.

Sheng Tai founder and chairman Datuk Leong Sir Ley said the firm had invested a total of RM8 million to establish the OSC across its offices.

She said Sheng Tai had been conducting its business across key markets in the Asia-Pacific region for over 10 years, adding that 95% of its total business is derived from overseas.

“There are very few property players today who know and understand these markets alongside the Malaysian market as much as Sheng Tai International.”

“This puts us in a unique position to attract not only quality property buyers but also to entice potential investors into Malaysia,” she added.

Leong said potential investors, who are looking to invest in Malaysia but unable to make a physical visit due to the current travel restrictions, could also get in touch with the OSC located in all offices.

“We can be the eyes, ears and hands for these potential investors, bridging them to local entrepreneurs and investors.

“We believe this would be an invaluable service as we conduct business under the new normal,” she said.

Leong added that Sheng Tai had a range of strategic partners in various industries that its customers and investors can explore through the OSC.

She said these partners include: HELP University; 28 Days Alliance, a postnatal care centre; retirement village Golden Heritage Living; fashion and lifestyle broadcaster FashionTV; as well as co-working space provider International Work Space Group.

She said Sheng Tai also had numerous business partners, suppliers and consultants throughout its value chain that potential investors can also rely on.
