NOM KL

Try Italian food with a local twist today at NOM KL. For main course, diners can choose between sundried tomato cappellini with prawn sambal, coriander and daun limau purut, smoked duck pizza with thin or crusty sourdough and macaroni risotto with pan seared salmon, coriander mango salsa and clam sauce. The set meal comes with daily soup, side salad and dessert of the day. The meal is priced at RM30.50.
Gobo Upstairs Lounge and Grill

Combining classic and contemporary dishes, Gobo Upstairs Lounge and Grill’s set lunch has something for everyone. The main course menu features tagliatelle pasta with beef stroganoff and sautéed summer vegetables, parmesan chicken with lemon caper sauce and pomme puree, grilled lamb cutlets with steak fries and artichoke coriander as well as oven baked salmon with vegetables and mustard sauce. Dessert is old fashioned cheese cake with strawberry compote, black forest or classic tiramisu. Diners have the choice between a two-course set at RM49 per person or three-course set at RM59 per person.

Tuck in to the delightful Elite Gourmand lunch set at Marble 8 and enjoy the lavish, modern setting of this stunning restaurant. For the appetiser, you have a choice between fresh lettuce with poached egg and smoked salmon or parsnip soup with fresh chives. The three main course choices are grilled fillet mignon served with steak fries and garden salad, grilled barramundi served with sautéed spinach and steak fries or spaghetti with mushrooms and asparagus finished with truffle oil, which makes Marble 8 a good option if you have a guest who is vegetarian. Dessert is the sinfully delightful vanilla panna cotta with fresh berries. Diners can opt for a two-course meal priced at RM88+ or three courses at RM110+.

If you prefer to have Asian food for lunch, take the Oriental route with the Great Wall dim sum set at Lai Po Heen. The menu includes classic dim sum dishes such as steamed siew mai topped with crystal prawn, deep fried yam dumplings filled with chicken and dried scallops, braised pumpkin puree with sea treasure millet, wok fried grouper fillets with capsicum and fermented black bean paste. For something more filling, the fragrant seafood fried rice with duo egg yolk is highly recommended. The double boiled five treasure with siratia tea, sun-dried longan, honey dates, aloe vera, saussurea and lotus seed is served for dessert. The meal is served with shui xian tea. The meal is priced at RM150 per person, and requires a minimum of four people.

Pamper yourself with a set lunch from French eatery Soleil, which is located just outside the city in Petaling Jaya. Brought to you by award winning chef Evert Onderbeke, the three-course meal is perfect for any occasion. For starters, choose between mixed salad with duck leg confit, oxtail soup with root vegetables and homemade tagliatelle with kam heong clams. The main course features baked chermoula baby seabream with Kalamata olives and preserved lemon or braised beef cheek with green pea puree, edamame and puffed rice. The set menu is priced at RM68++. Sample authentic modern European cuisine at Graze. For starters, diners can choose between soup of the day, bresaola salad with caramelised Braeburn apple, toasted walnuts and raspberry vinaigrette or buttered green jumbo asparagus with poached egg and hollandaise sauce. The main course menu is chicken piccata with snow peas, couscous and tomato sauce, bangers and mash with onion gravy and spring onions. For vegetarians there is the fava bean, tomato and spinach linguine with crumbled goat cheese.
