Home-grown festival Good Vibes is back for its third edition this year, boasting an impressive line-up of international and local acts. This year’s festival will be held over the course of two days on Aug 12 and 13 at The Ranch @ Gohtong Jaya in Genting Highlands.
As part of the first phase of announcements of the line-up, the festival’s headliners are bound to excite any rock fan. The UK’s The 1975, Irish indie band Two Door Cinema Club and Australian rock band The Temper Trap will be headlining the weekend festival, and they will be joined by electro-pop duo Purity Ring, beatmaker and producer Ta-Ku, DJ and record producer Ryan Hemsworth.
If you are looking for some local flavour at the festival, you will not be disappointed. Indie electronic band Enterprise and rock scene veterans Seven Collar T-Shirt have been listed in the announcement. Aside from that Froya, Jumero, Juno and Hanna, The Fridays and Toko Kilat will also be taking ot the stage.
The full line-up will be announced in the weeks, as will further details on the festival’s Good Bites food village — a gourmand’s haven with plenty of yummy eats for festival-goers. Two-day festival tickets are priced at RM300, RM350 and RM450, while one-day passes are RM250. Tickets are now available on www.boxtis.asia. Good Vibes 2016 is open to patrons aged 18 and above only.
