KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 23): Infrastructure engineering firm Rohas Tecnic Bhd said in a Thursday (Dec 23) bourse filing it has secured an RM85.15 million contract from the Selangor state government.

The group’s wholly-owned subsidiary Rohas Euco Industries Bhd (REI) bagged the contract to construct pumping stations at two existing retention ponds and lay water pipelines, to convey the water to the Semenyih Water Treatment Plant (WTP) intake.

It said the project, which has a tenure of 12 months, is expected to have a positive impact on the group’s results for the year ending Dec 31, 2022.

Rohas Tecnic closed up half a sen or 1.69% at 30 sen, valuing it at RM141.8 million.
