KUALA LUMPUR: RHB Banking Group yesterday launched an enhanced version of its mobile banking application that caters to premier customers.
The enhanced application has additional features and financial solutions that include market updates, messaging features and lifestyle privileges.
“We are pleased to introduce the enhanced RHB Now Mobile Banking App which offers our affluent customers fast and seamless financial and lifestyle experiences,” said group retail banking head U Chen Hock.
“Our affluent customers do not need to download two different apps. Instead, they will enjoy the convenience of a single login to access these attractive features,” U said at the launch.
He said that as of October, the new app had seen more than 120,000 new downloads with more than 360,000 existing customers having upgraded to this app.
“With this enhanced app, we aim to sign up a majority of our premier customers onto this new mobile platform,” he said.
U said that RHB’s premier banking customer base had risen to 34,000 from 30,000 in July.
To be eligible for premier banking membership, an individual must have at least RM200,000 of assets under management.
