<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 1): Prestariang Bhd has secured a one-year contract extension by the Ministry of Education (MoE) to supply Microsoft software licences to all public higher education institutions under the Ministry for RM11.63 million.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>The contract extension for the “Managing University Software as an Enterprise” (MUSE) programme commenced from July 3 this year and will continue until July 2, 2019, Prestariang said today.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>It is the third extension that the MoE has granted to Prestariang under the work scope since the contract was first announced in August 2011.</p></div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>“The extension of contract is expected to contribute positively to the future earnings, net assets per share and gearing of Prestariang Group,” it said.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Shares of Prestariang lost four sen or 3.85% to close at RM1, giving the group a market capitalisation of RM503.36 million.</p></div>
