<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>“It has come to our attention that there are fake social media accounts posing as Petronas president and group CEO&nbsp;Datuk Tengku Muhammad Taufik.</p></div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>“The management of Petronas would like to clarify that Datuk Tengku Muhammad Taufik currently has no social media accounts in his professional capacity as the president and group CEO of Petronas,” it said.&nbsp;</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Petronas added that fake accounts can be used as platforms to share false information and obtain or misuse personal information as well.&nbsp;</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>These accounts can also be sold to other unscrupulous parties, it shared.</p></div>
