KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 18): It was in 1992 when Bruno Belamich and Carlos-Antonio Rosillo decided to begin Bell & Ross, a haute horology house that focuses on desiging precision tools for urban explorers, as well as extreme professionals, including astronauts, pilots, bomb disposal experts and divers. Amassing an impressive following, the Franco-Swiss brand is known for its iconic circle in square case. “We’ve built this story of our brand step by step, from new men without money, only passion, to mature men — I will not say old men — who create powerful and unique watches,” says Belamich.
During the partners’ recent visit to Kuala Lumpur — it was the first time the two were here together — they launched the BR-X5, a timepiece that houses a special movement made in collaboration with Kenissi — a Geneva-based movement manufacturer. The co-founders tell Options about highlights in the brand’s history and plans for the future.
