KUALA LUMPUR (March 29): The Pantai Sentral Park interchange that will connect the development to the New Pantai Expressway (NPE) is slated for completion in the second quarter of next year.
The 2.8km interchange is a joint-venture project between IJM Land Bhd and Amona Development Sdn Bhd, the joint developers of Pantai Sentral Park.
“The construction for the 2.8km interchange started last October and will connect Pantai Sentral Park to the NPE upon completion in the second quarter of 2018. With an estimated cost of RM52 million, it will give residents and the larger community easier access to major roads around the Pantai Dalam-Kerinchi area and beyond,” the developers said in a statement today.
“We are on a mission to create a township where residents are able to live, work and play in a fully integrated development. With the new PSP Interchange, residents of Pantai Sentral Park will have smoother drives in and out of their homes and offices, to major hotspots in the Klang Valley. It will also benefit those in neighbouring communities and create opportunities for development in nearby areas,” said Pantai Sentral Park sales and marketing manager Grace Foo.
The interchange will help to redistribute traffic flow, and encourage smooth traffic when entering and exiting Pantai Sentral Park.
Pantai Sentral Park is a mixed-use development comprising seven residential and six commercial phases, with a gross development value of RM2.5 billion. Located within 58 acres, the township is set to be completed within 10 to 15 years, with some 15,000 residents calling it home.
Apart from the new interchange, Pantai Sentral Park will be reachable through other roads such as Federal Highway, Kerinchi Link (SPRINT Highway), Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong (LDP Highway), MEX Highway (Maju Expressway), Jalan Kerinchi, Jalan Gasing, Jalan Pantai Dalam and Jalan Templer.
