KUALA LUMPUR (June 23): Property developer Oriental Interest Bhd (OIB) saw 5.24% or 7.59 million of its shares traded off-market today, for RM2.20 apiece or RM16.7 million in total.
The shares were moved in two blocks, one made up of 472,995 shares, and another of 7.12 million shares.
However, it is not known as to who the buyers or sellers were.
Meanwhile, in a filing to the Bursa Malaysia today, the developer said its director Low Kok Kean has ceased to be a substantial shareholder, because he has reduced his interest in in LLS & Sons Sdn Bhd, which has a 72.39% interest in Oriental Interest.
Oriental Interest shares closed unchanged at RM2.53 today, for a market capitalisation of RM366.53 million.
