KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 16): My E.G. Services Bhd co-founder and managing director Wong Thean Soon, better known as TS Wong, and chairman Datuk Norraesah Mohamad, have emerged as a substantial shareholder in Heitech Padu Bhd, with a 5.38% stake or 5.45 million shares.

A filing with Bursa Malaysia today showed the duo, via their private investment vehicle Asia Internet Holdings Sdn Bhd, had acquired 3.74 million shares from the open market yesterday, pushing their shareholding to above the 5% threshold.

It was previously reported that Wong has a 66% stake in Asia Internet Holdings, while Norraesah holds the remaining 34%.

The duo also owned a 22.71% stake in Excel Force MSC Bhd via Asia Internet Holdings as at Sept 12.

According to its annual report for the financial year ended Dec 31, 2018 (FY18), Heitech Padu’s largest shareholders are Padujade Corp Sdn Bhd with a controlling 29.96% stake, while Permodalan Nasional Bhd has a 14.95% stake.

Shares of Heitech Padu closed unchanged at RM1.17 today, giving it a market capitalisation of RM118.43 million. The counter saw 12.04 million shares traded.
