MANCHESTER (Sept 30): Mundipharma Pte Ltd, a healthcare and pharmaceutical company, has landed a regional partnership deal with English Premier League leader, Manchester City.
The three-year deal will see Mundipharma named as the official healthcare product partner of Manchester City Football Club in the emerging markets. The company will be incorporating the Manchester City branding in a selection of their marketing and advertising campaigns; and the logo of its range of Betadine medicines will feature on the sleeve of the club’s medical staff at friendly matches in these markets.
While the value of the deal was not disclosed, it is understood that the partnership will greatly benefit both Mundipharma and Manchester City.
The markets cover Asia Pacific, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa. Regional president Raman Singh said the deal with Manchester City could help both sides to enhance their presence and brand names within their respective markets in the region.
Speaking at a press conference at Manchester City’s academy, Raman said Mundipharma is proud to become an official healthcare product partner of the famous club.
Mundipharma is a privately-owned company that covers the world’s pharmaceutical markets with its regional office based in Singapore. It has also made its presence in Malaysia, with Mundipharma Pharmaceuticals Sdn Bhd having began its operations in 2004.
