PDMC Group launched its second high-rise development — Gaya Resort Homes in Bukit Rimau, Shah Alam — on

Feb 23 and more than 50% of the units have been sold.

“In view of the current market situation, I am very happy with the response. I believe it is the good location, good product and reasonable pricing that attracted the buyers,” group managing director Bill Tan tells City & Country in an email.

Located behind AEON BiG Bukit Rimau, the freehold mixed-use development will occupy a 3.6-acre commercial parcel.

The three-tower, 21-storey resort themed development, with a gross   development value of RM312 million, will comprise 540 serviced apartments as well as 24 shoplots on two floors of the podium.

There will be 44 facilities on the sixth floor. They include private and family spas, a resort-style pergola, artificial sand beach, mini orchard and herbal garden.

There will be four layouts for the serviced apartments. Type A, with a built-up of 751 sq ft, will have 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms while Type B, with a built-up of 869 sq ft, will have 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

Types C and D, which are dual-key units, will feature 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (1,263 sq ft), and 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms (1,462 sq ft) respectively.

As for the shoplots, the built-ups of the units on the ground floor will be between 1,884 and 2,795 sq ft while those on the first floor will be 1,787 to 2,666 sq ft.

The selling price of the serviced apartments starts at RM390,000 while that for the shoplots is RM611,388. The maintenance fee is 30 sen psf for the apartments and 26 sen psf for the shoplots.

Each apartment will come with two or three parking bays, depending on the size of the unit. For the shoplots, one to two parking lots will be assigned to those on the first floor. The ground-floor units will have three to five parking lots.

Gaya Resort Homes is accessible via highways such as the Shah Alam Expressway (Kesas), Kemuning-Shah Alam Highway, Federal Highway and South Klang Valley Expressway. It is a short distance away from the Bukit Rimau interchange and Kota Kemuning interchange linking to Kesas.

There are many amenities in the vicinity such as hospitals, schools, shopping and grocery outlets, hotels and banks.
