KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 9): Tan Sri Mokhzani Mahathir has ceased to be a substantial shareholder of Sapura Energy Bhd after disposing of 384.97 million shares representing a 6.4% stake in the company.
The sale, via his private investment vehicle Khasera Baru Sdn Bhd, was made on Tuesday, according to a filing with Bursa Malaysia today.
Bloomberg data showed that on that day, a block of 1.4 million shares were traded at RM1.48 and another 500,000 shares in 21 different blocks changed hands at RM1.50.
Today, Bloomberg data revealed that a total of 88.75 million shares were traded off-market in four different blocks. One block of 250,000 shares was traded at RM1.47 and the rest at RM1.42.
At market close, Sapura Energy's shares were down 2 sen or 1.35% at RM1.46 for a market capitalisation of RM8.75 billion.
