KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 10): MIDF Amanah Investment Bank Bhd has named Linda Yeow as director of corporate finance, effective today.

Yeow was formerly deputy chief financial officer at Malaysia Airlines Bhd, primarily responsible for treasury, corporate advisory functions, and special projects for the group.

Prior to that, she spent 15 years at CIMB Investment Bank with her last position being director of corporate client solutions, with a key role in deal structuring and origination.

She was actively involved in a gamut of transactions, including corporate advisory and restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, as well as debt fundraising and cash management, MIDF Amanah said in a statement.

“Linda’s extensive experience in corporate finance, both at a bank and operating company level and deep market knowledge, will be great assets to the Bank as we move towards strengthening and expanding our operations, as well as ensuring that we are well positioned to deliver on our value proposition to all our stakeholders,” said MIDF Amanah chief executive officer Datuk Dominic Silva.

Yeow is the latest appointment at the bank, following the appointment of Ahmad Gazzara Czillich, who joined in June as co-head of debt markets.
