KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 2): Malaysia Airlines Bhd said on Thursday (Dec 2) that there is an ongoing scam from fraudulent websites, which falsely promote a cash prize from Malaysia Airlines in return for filling out a questionnaire or survey.

"Please be informed that there are no such promotional campaigns being run by Malaysia Airlines at this time.

"We urge you (guests) to abstain from sharing any personal information, should you come across suspicious promotions under the guise of the Malaysia Airlines name,” Malaysia Airlines said in Facebook post.

Malaysia Airlines however did not specify the names of the fraudulent websites.

"We also advise you to avoid sharing fraudulent links (with) the general public,” Malaysia Airlines said.
