KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 19): Industrial space solutions provider AME Elite Consortium Bhd, which is seeking to list on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia to raise funds for its capital expenditure, has inked a retail underwriting agreement with CIMB Investment Bank Bhd.
In a statement yesterday, AME said CIMB Investment Bank is its principal adviser and managing underwriter, as well as joint underwriter and joint bookrunner, together with RHB Investment Bank Bhd, for its listing exercise.
AME is issuing to the public 85.4 million new shares, which represent 20% of the group's enlarged share base of 427.1 million shares upon conclusion of the initial public offering.
In addition to the public issuance, there will be an offer for sale of 42.7 million existing shares, which are offered to Malaysian institutional and selected investors.
AME provides end-to-end industrial space solutions, encompassing the design-and-build of large plants, development of industrial parks, as well as the sale and lease of industrial factory units. AME counts among its clientele multinational and local companies from diverse sectors such as aerospace, automotive, electronics, logistics, consumer and food, and many more.
These activities are supported by AME's in-house engineering and construction capabilities, including mechanical and electrical (M&E) engineering, and industrialised building system (IBS) involving steel structure and pre-cast concrete fabrication. AME also has a property investment arm consisting of rental of industrial properties and management of workers' dormitories within its industrial parks.
AME said it has completed around 200 industrial buildings and manufacturing plants to date, and has served a clientele of renowned multinational and domestic companies.
The firm said some of its major customers in recent years include RHB Trustees Bhd, THAB Development Sdn Bhd, Rosek (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, Pali Senai Sdn Bhd, Bericap Malaysia Sdn Bhd, and Beyonics Technology (Senai) Sdn Bhd.
Furthermore, AME added it has completed the construction of three industrial parks in Johor, namely i-Park @ SiLC, i-Park @ Indahpura (Phase 1 and 2), and District 6. The group is also currently constructing i-Park @ Senai Airport City in Johor.
AME is expecting to list on the Main Market of Bursa Securities in the fourth quarter of 2019.
