KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 7): Malaysia-based web hosting and e-commerce solutions provider Exabytes Network Sdn Bhd has introduced its EasyStore — the all-in-one e-commerce solution — and its one-stop logistics solution EasyParcel for the Taiwan market.

In a statement yesterday, the company said the launch was held in conjunction with its participation at the E-Commerce Expo Asia 2015 held in Taipei, Taiwan, from Oct 6–9, 2015, whereby Exabytes' flagship e-commerce solutions are bundled by Malaysia's Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC) as part of the nation's offering and showcase at the Expo.

Exabytes' founder and chief executive officer Chan Kee Siak said the E-Commerce Expo Asia 2015 was the ideal platform for the company to introduce EasyStore and EasyParcel to an established and growing pool of Taiwanese eMerchants.

"We are honoured to have the support of MDeC and be able to represent the country in this global platform to take the Malaysian e-commerce industry to even bigger heights.

"Such opportunities provide players like us the pathway to expand regionally," he said.

Chan said while e-commerce transactions take place solely online, small- and medium-sized enterprises face the hassle of transporting their goods from one place to the another.

"For Taiwanese eMerchants who are naturally unfamiliar with Malaysia's logistic scene, EasyParcel will be very handy for them in reaching out to Malaysia's significant population of e-commerce buyers through a one-stop site to manage and ship of their goods to Malaysia," he said.

Chan added that EasyParcel allows the merchant to select from a variety of logistics providers, compare prices and packages very easily on a single site — arranging for any of the selected logistic companies to come and pick up the goods to be delivered to their customers, saving a lot of time, hassle and worry.

"EasyParcel is the first online shipping solutions consolidator and booking platform in Malaysia where you can easily compare rates, price and book courier services via logistics companies such as PosLaju, Skynet, Airpak, Nationwide Express and more," said Chan.
