KUALA LUMPUR: Kumpulan Jetson Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Jetson Construction Sdn Bhd, has bagged a contract worth RM88.03 million to build four blocks of serviced apartments in Jalan Yap Kwan Seng, Kuala Lumpur.
In a bourse filing yesterday, Kumpulan Jetson said the letter of award was received from Ken Wong Architect, which issued it on behalf of O&C Makok Isola Sdn Bhd.
Under the 32-month contract, the group has to undertake the construction of the main building and external works for four blocks of serviced apartments totalling 140 units. The project’s commencement date will be confirmed by the architect.
“The project is expected to contribute positively to the earnings of Jetson Group for the financial years ending 2018 to 2021,” said Kumpulan Jetson.
Shares in Kumpulan Jetson closed one sen or 4.54% higher at 23 sen yesterday, for a market capitalisation of RM47.53 million.
