KUALA LUMPUR (June 10): Knusford Bhd has appointed Datuk Ahmad Zaki Zahid as its managing director.

Ahmad Zaki, age 44, is currently the founder and director of Zulu Capital Sdn Bhd, a private equity management firm pursuing investment opportunities in the food and beverage, property, and oil and gas sectors.

According to the filing to Bursa Malaysia, he held executive positions in public listed companies and served the Malaysian Government in various capacities prior to his position in Zulu Capital.

Between 2009 and 2013, Ahmad Zaki was the managing director/executive director of KFC Malaysia Holdings Bhd, QSR Brands Bhd, Kulim Malaysia Bhd, Damansara Realty Bhd and Malaysian Resources Corporation Bhd.

He holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Bristol, England.

Knusford (fundamental: 2.1; valuation: 3.0) is a company which deals in the sales and rental of plant and machinery as well as trading in building materials. It is also in construction and property development.
