Swiss wealth manager Julius Baer (BAER1.VX) named David Lim as its private banking head for Southeast Asia, replacing Wilfried Kofmehl who was the public face for the Swiss bank in the region since 2006.

Lim was deputy chief executive officer Singapore and head of investment finance before this promotion, the bank said. Kofmehl, who is a managing director, has decided to focus purely on key client relationships.
