PETALING JAYA (April 21): Gamuda Land won three awards at EdgeProp Malaysia’s Best Managed Property Awards 2019 for the quality and sustainable property management of its projects — Jade Hills, D’Suites @ Horizon Hills and Valencia.

Jade Hills in Kajang and D’Suites @ Horizon Hills in Johor achieved Gold in the 10 years and above non-strata residential category and the below 10 years multi-owned strata residential category, respectively.

Meanwhile, Valencia’s idyllic landscapes won a Silver in the EdgeProp-ILAM Malaysia’s Sustainable Landscape Award 2019, which is part the EdgeProp Malaysia’s Best Managed Property Awards.

Gamuda Land club, townships and property management director Tang Meng Loon said that the team is honoured and excited to receive the three awards, which is a testament to Gamuda Land’s town-making principles to incorporate sustainability designs into its projects from the beginning.

"We are ecstatic about winning three awards tonight. This is our third year running that we had won at EdgeProp Malaysia’s Best Managed Property Awards.

"It is really testament to Gamuda Land’s town-making principles where we mindfully think through every detail to ensure the planning to our developments are done right from the beginning so that they can sustain for the years to come," he told EdgeProp.my at the awards gala night held at a Petaling Jaya hotel tonight.

He added that seeing Gamuda Land's developments rewarded with such esteemed awards that went through rigorous judging process is a very good motivation for the team to keep pushing the boundaries to do better while learning from previous experience and continue to raise the bar in the property industry not only in Malaysia but also the projects overseas.

"At the same time, we would also like to congratulate EdgeProp for taking this initiative to organise such acclaim for the property industry to set higher benchmark for good property and township management that benefits the community," he concluded.
