KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 15): Engineering services provider Frontken Corp Bhd saw its shares actively traded this morning, with 20.88 million shares exchanging hands, surpassing its 200 day average trading volume of 19.86 million shares.
Its shares rose as much as 2.9% this morning to 34.5 sen, before retreating to 33.5 sen at the mid-day break. Year-to-date, Frontken shares rose as much as 97.1% from its closing price of 17 sen on Dec 30, 2016.
Last Friday, Frontken chairman and managing director Ng Wai Pin acquired 500,000 shares in the company at 31 sen per share.
After the purchase, he owned six million shares or 0.57% in Frontken, according to Frontken.
