KUALA LUMPUR (June 28): Employers who have registered under Human Resource Development Corp (HRD Corp) may utilise up to 10% of their levy balance to purchase and administer Covid-19 vaccines for staff.

Under the PEMULIH stimulus package, Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said the government is giving tax deductions to employers on expenses incurred to Covid-19 contributions through community and charitable projects.

The government has also introduced a subsidy of RM30 on e-hailing and taxi fares to the elderly and OKUs for their vaccination appointments.

In total, the prime minister said the government has earmarked RM1 billion for expediting the vaccination programme in its PEMULIH stimulus package revealed today.
