KUALA LUMPUR (March 6): When it comes to taking care of the elderly or having to recover from a major surgery, having a place to handle all the nitty gritty of care is important for a good retirement and also recovery. At ReU Living Sdn Bhd, a joint venture between IGB Bhd, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Tan & Tan Developments Bhd, and Meaningfull Life Sdn Bhd, is an assisted care facility located in Block B of MiCasa All Suites Hotel in Kuala Lumpur that provides such care.

Refurbished and renovated for seniors and also for post-hospitalisation recovery, ReU Living facilities feature 108 rooms, a clubhouse with lounge and dining-cum-activity hall, and medically trained staff and carers to take care of guests needs. Independent seniors who wish to retire at ReU Living can stay in Block A of the hotel, if all rooms in Block B are taken up by those who need assisted care.

There is also an elders daycare from Monday to Friday for those families who wish to not leave their elderly parents alone at home but to be able to mingle with others and participate in activities that will help their physical, psychosocial and mental/emotive needs.

Add on services like occupation therapy, physiotherapy, professional counselling and ambulance service are available.
