SINGAPORE (Sept 7): Singapore-listed CSC Holdings Ltd says jointly held Top3 Development has entered into sale and purchase agreements with Sime Darby Ainsdale Development and Sime Darby Plantation to acquire two plots of freehold land in Seremban, Malaysia, with a total area of 15 acres.
The consideration for the land is about RM43 million (S$14.3 million) which includes stamp duties and GST. CSC says its portion will be satisfied entirely in cash, through a combination of shareholder funds and borrowings.
The land is situated in Bandar Ainsdale, 5km away from Seremban town, 35km from Kuala Lumpur International Airport and 70km from Kuala Lumpur, with direct access to the North-South Expressway through the Bandar Ainsdale interchange.
Upon completion, Top3 intends to develop commercial properties on the site for sale or lease.
Both Sime Darby Plantation and Sime Darby Ainsdale Development are wholly owned subsidiaries of Sime Darby Berhad which is listed on the Mainboard of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.
Shares of CSC closed unchanged at 2.3 cents.
