KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 7): Harrisons Holdings (M) Bhd, which operates the Famous Amos cookies business in Singapore, says today its acting chief executive officer Chang Kon Sang has been re-designated as CEO.
The appointment was made effective on Feb 5, the company said in a bourse filing. Chang, who is also executive director, has been acting CEO for Harrisons Malaysia from Aug 5, 2019.
Chang, 69, has been with Harrisons, which has been known as one of the oldest sales, marketing, warehousing, distribution and services organisation in Malaysia, since 1980. The accountant was previously appointed as managing director of Harrisons' Sabah chapter, Harrisons Sabah Sdn Bhd, on Nov 1, 1997.
Shares of Harrisons were not traded today. The counter last closed at RM3.85, giving it a market capitalisation of RM263.68 million.
