KUALA LUMPUR (June 27): Century Logistics Holdings Bhd said its founder Datuk Phua Sin Mo is in discussion with an interested party that may lead to the sale of his stake in the company.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, Century Logistics said nothing conclusive has been agreed upon.
"Century Logistics will make the necessary announcement at the appropriate time when there are material developments relating to the same," it added.
The announcement came after a media report last week said a South Korean group may buy Century Logistics' stake.
At 4.26pm, shares of Century Logistics were traded 2 sen or 2.35% higher at 87 sen, with 1.6 million shares done, for a market capitalisation of RM332.67 million.
