<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 12): Berjaya Food Bhd (BFB) has appointed Sydney Lawrence Quays as its executive director while Datuk Zurainah Binti Musa has resigned from her position as non-independent, non-executive director of the company.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>According to a filing on Bursa Malaysia today, Quays is currently also a director of Berjaya Food Trading Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of BFB, and is responsible for the growth of BFood Trading, which operates the fast-moving consumer goods business.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>He was appointed managing director of both Berjaya Starbucks Coffee Company Sdn Bhd and Berjaya Food Supreme Sdn Bhd, an indirect subsidiary of BFB, in October 2012 and September 2013 respectively.</p></div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>“He also holds directorships in several other private limited companies in Berjaya Corporation group of companies namely, Wen Berjaya Sdn Bhd and Berjaya Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Sdn Bhd,” BFB said.</p></div>
