<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>In an exchange filing today, the group said its wholly-owned Alam Maritim (M) Sdn Bhd will be undertaking the job awarded by Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd and Enquest Petroleum Production Malaysia Ltd.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>The contract, valid for five years from Aug 13 this year, is on a regular or "call-out" basis whereby work orders will be issued by the client based on the schedule of rates as set forth in the contract.</p></div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>The total contract value will therefore be contingent upon the actual work orders and the scope of work performed.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Alam Maritim, which has been loss-making in the past two financial years, expects the contract to contribute positively to its earnings and net tangible assets for the current fiscal year ending Dec 31, 2018 (FY18) up until FY23.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Its share price slipped half a sen to close at 9 sen today, valuing the company at RM83.2 million. The counter traded at 17 sen a year ago.</p></div>
