KUALA LUMPUR (March 23): AirAsia will be upgrading its Navitaire New Skies reservation system this week as part of its continuous effort to provide guests an enhanced online experience.
The low-cost carrier said in a statement today that flight and SNAP bookings will be unavailable during this period from 11pm tonight (March 23) to 3am tomorrow (March 24) on the airasia.com website, airasia super app, AirAsia sales offices, counters and through its AVA chat service.
Guests will also not be able to perform check-ins via the web, super app or airport kiosks or counters, or manage their bookings until the upgrade is completed, it said.
“All guests flying during this period are strongly advised to check in online or via the airasia super app ahead of the upgrade period, and to print out their E-Boarding pass where available. Web and airasia super app check-ins are available from 14 days prior to departure for all flights,” it said.
It added that guests should ensure they are eligible to travel before booking any flights.
“All AirAsia guests are required to wear a mask before, during and after the flight, including during check-in and bag collection. Guests are also encouraged to be at the airport at least three hours before their flight to avoid any travel inconvenience,” it noted.
All other services on airasia.com will be available as usual, it added.
At 10.03am today, AirAsia Group Bhd had fallen three sen or 2.52% to RM1.16, valuing the group at RM4.54 billion.
